Make the New Year Bright…with Band Work!
Exercise bands are an effective, inexpensive way to keep toned while targeting trouble spots through the controlled resistance they provide when used with correct form and pacing. With a variety of colors, thicknesses, and handles to choose from, you should pick the one that allows you to reach the full range of motion throughout any exercise. Once that feels too easy, try a tighter, different colored band, change from one foot to two when standing on it, or choke your grip higher up on the band to shorten it and feel the burn. Aim for a minimum of 20 reps and repeat 2-3 times.
