Ingredients:
1 1/4 lbs of Lean, Ground Turkey
1 Hamburger Helper box (Cheesy Chicken Enchilada or Cheesy Nacho is recommended)
1-2 Red or Yellow Bell Peppers (chopped)
1 Package of Shredded Cheese (Cheddar or Mexican Mix)
1 1/4 cups Water
2 cups Milk
Ortega Medium Salsa (Red)
TABASCO brand Green Jalapeno Pepper Sauce (Mild)
Salt (Lawry’s recommended)
How to make it:
Start by browning the turkey in a large pan, adding a small amount of (Lawry’s) salt along the way.
Reduce heat before adding the seasoning packet, uncooked pasta, water, and milk.
Stir until even and mixed.
Increase heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.
Reduce heat and cover; simmer about 14 minutes or until pasta is tender.
Remove from heat and uncover to allow sauce to thicken.
During this time, add in chopped bell peppers and desired amount of cheese and Ortega Medium Salsa. Place back on the stove on lowest setting and stir.
Serve with desired chips and PLENTY of Green TABASCO sauce. |
