London based organization Surviving Actors Ltd are hosting their US debut event Actors Pro Expo in New York this April. The event will take place Saturday 26th from 10am – 5pm at The Radisson Martinique on Broadway.

Actors Pro Expo has been sponsored by SAG-AFTRA and has the support of many organizations such as Casting Networks Inc, Theatre Communications Group, Mustard Lane staffing, The Actor’s Project NYC, Edge Audio & more.

The event itself is a great platform for actors and performers to connect with industry professionals & services to develop their skills and work with services that will help enhance aspects of their career.

Actors Pro Expo is aimed at professional working actors and those retuning to work after a break. The event will see a mix of fresh graduates and actors that are at different stages within their career.

Casting Networks will be presenting a special seminar by David Morris from Tesley + Company

Bonnie Katz writer of “The Conscious Actor” on Casting Networks’ blog The Networker, will be teaching a one-hour workshop “How To Create Unshakable Confidence Through Groundbreaking Neuroscience and Mindful Meditation.” This workshop is designed to help actors develop the necessary tools to successfully navigate through the day-to-day challenges of their profession. Participants will learn how to take obstacles and turn them into opportunities of personal growth.

The day will consists of the main exhibit hall featuring industry professionals & services, an array of useful Seminars and Workshops, covering topics from the Alexander Technique to Getting Cast in Episodic Season 2014. These will be hosted by New York’s top casting directors, directors and agents.

The event will present plenty of opportunity for networking and there will also be an open casting call and a dropbox area to post your details for review by the casting directors involved with the event!! So to all actors out there bring your Resume, Headshots & Business Cards for who knows whom you will get chatting to!

The event also welcomes Writers, Directors and Film Makers to come along and network with the industry.
